Bully Dog® BDX™ for 2009-2020 Ford F-150 Trucks with a 5.0 V8, 2.7 V6 EcoBoost, 3.5 V6 EcoBoost (including Raptor), 3.3 V6, and 3.5 V6. Also fits 2011-2021 F250 / F350 6.2 V8 Gas. Unlock power gains with one of the 3 included pre-loaded tunes (87 octane, 91 octane, and 93 octane). Every F150’s PCM comes with limitations on horsepower, torque, top speed limit, rev limit and other caps put in place by the vehicle manufacturer. The BDX will allow you to unlock extra power and capability by writing an enhanced program to your vehicle’s computer. Bully Dog carefully designs their pre-loaded tunes for maximum power and efficiency, giving you more opportunity to utilize the maximum capabilities of your F-150’s engine and drivetrain. Adjustable parameters vary based on model year (see below).

What you can adjust:
Axle Ratio (2011-2014 5.0L)
Correct the vehicle speedometer (and fuel efficiency calculations) if you have changed the gear ratio on your vehicle. If no gear ration modifications have been made to the vehicle, then choose the stock setting when the tuner prompts you to choose a gear ratio. This will ensure that no modifications are made to the stock program.
Global Spark (2015-2017 5.0L)
Allows addition or removal of timing across all RPM ranges
Idle Adjust (2011-2017 5.0L)
Enable and select a value for Engine Idle position. This is a great feature for keeping voltage in the vehicle up while running auxiliary electronics off of the vehicle’s power system.
Intake Airbox (2011-2014 5.0L)
For Intake Kits that require tuning, this will provide a selection of available intake kits.
Rev Limiter (2011-2017 5.0L)
Regulate the highest RPM that an engine can reach before the engine is electronically limited. Increasing the RPM limit is recommended only for racing purposes. Once of the most important ways to protect your engine from damage is to keep the RPMs from going too high.
Speed Limiter (2011-2017 5.0L)
Change the top speed that the vehicle will reach before the engine automatically limits the power needed to go faster.
Tire Size (2011-2014 5.0L)
Correct the speedometer if you have changed your tire size from stock.
Torque Reduction (2011-2014 5.0L)
Reduce torque durning shifting (makes shift more firm)
TPMS (2011-2014 5.0L)
Change or disable the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
Transmission Shift Firmness (2011-2014 5.0L)
Change the shift firmness of an automatic transmission.
Transmission Shift Points (2011-2014 5.0L)
Change the RPMs at which an automatic transmission will change gears.

If your vehicle has engine warning lights and/or removed factory components, the pre-loaded tunes may not work. The pre-loaded files on this device are calibrated specifically for stock engine/transmission/exhaust equipment (cat-back/filter-back exhausts & air intakes are fine and will not cause issues, unless they have set off an engine light).
