The FOX® 985-24-163 2.0 Performance Series Front Reservoir Shock is a bolt-on front shock for 2017-2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks running a 4-5.5 inch front lift, delivering 10.12 inches of travel through a 2.0-inch smooth body with an external reservoir.
IMPORTANT: This shock is valved specifically for 2017-2019 trucks running a 4-inch front lift, 2020-and-newer non-Tremor trucks running a 4.5-5.5 inch front lift, or Tremor trucks running a 2.5-3.5 inch front lift. It includes the required universal reservoir mounting bracket and is sold individually. Confirm your exact lift height and Tremor/non-Tremor configuration before ordering, as installing the wrong lift-height variant will result in incorrect ride height and damping performance.
The aluminum-bodied FOX® 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir shock delivers race-proven damping performance in an affordable, hassle-free bolt-on package. The impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body is clear-anodized for a heat-reducing, corrosion-resistant finish that dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel-body shock.
An external reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity for more consistent damping under sustained off-road use, while delivering a distinctive race-inspired look. The black-anodized reservoir mounting clamp and other components are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum.
The race-developed, high-flow damping piston is matched with application-specific valving to deliver predictable ride quality capable of handling rough road conditions. A redundant sealing pack — main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal — protects against contamination.
The shock uses a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated shaft, a stem-top upper mount, and an eyelet lower mount. FOX® backs this shock with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
