Description
FOX® part number 985-02-004 is a 2.0 Performance Series Coil-Over IFP shock built for the front position, delivering 0″-2″ of lift on 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra trucks.
This coilover uses a 2.0″ impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear-anodized aluminum body that sheds heat efficiently and resists corrosion over years of use. A vehicle-specific upper mount incorporates a composite bushing that isolates cab noise and vibration for a smoother ride.
Locking spring preload rings let you dial in ride height and preload without special tools, retaining a FOX®-selected racing-grade coil spring matched to the correct rate for this application. The shock bolts on with no cutting, drilling, or modification, and is designed to level the truck front-to-rear while reusing factory mounting hardware.
Internally, an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design separates the shock oil from a high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration so the factory-tuned valving performs consistently under hard use. A 5/8″ hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft pairs with a redundant three-stage seal pack (main, wiper, and scraper) and large-diameter, heavy-duty spherical bearings for long service life.
