Part number 985-24-057 is a FOX® 2.0 Performance Series smooth body shock with 10.12in of travel, a stem-top mount, an eyelet bottom mount, and a clamp-mounted external reservoir, built for universal off-road and suspension applications.
IMPORTANT: This SKU uses a stem-top mount and does not include a compression damping adjuster. FOX® also offers an eyelet-top/eyelet-bottom version at the same 10.12in travel with an integrated CD adjuster under part number 985-26-052. Confirm your required top mount hardware (stem vs. eyelet) and whether you need external damping adjustment before ordering, as FOX® does not publish vehicle-specific fitment for this universal shock and mount type is not interchangeable.
This FOX® 2.0 Performance Series shock uses an impact-extruded, clear-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum body that dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel-body shock, and is performance-tuned for vehicle-specific applications by FOX®.
The clamp-mounted external reservoir system increases available oil and nitrogen capacity and dissipates heat faster than a shock without a reservoir, improving damping consistency over long, rough sections of trail. The billet reservoir clamp and other components are black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum. A race-developed high-flow piston is matched with application-specific valving for a controlled, predictable ride.
The shaft is 5/8in hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel, and the shock uses a redundant sealing pack system consisting of a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal to keep contaminants out and oil in over extended service life. This shock is backed by the FOX® limited lifetime warranty.

This is a universal-application FOX® 2.0 Performance Series shock, not tied to a specific make or model – match it to your build by travel (10.12in), extended/compressed length, and stem-top/eyelet mounting configuration. This SKU has a stem-top mount and no adjuster; the eyelet-mount version with a CD adjuster at the same 10.12in travel is sold separately under part number 985-26-052. Do not order this part number if your application requires an eyelet top mount or on-vehicle damping adjustment.
