IMPORTANT: This is the 1.5-2.5 inch lift Rear application, covering both the 2011-2019 and 2020+ generations of the Silverado/Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD platform. For a 4-6 inch rear lift on the same vehicle range, see part number 987-24-035. These SKUs are not interchangeable – matching the correct lift height to your vehicle’s actual ride height is required for proper shock performance. Sold individually, one shock per shock absorber position.
The FOX® 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a bolt-on shock loaded with position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to improve on and off-road performance. A type II anodized aluminum body efficiently dissipates heat and prevents corrosion. The 2.5-inch shock body features an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping.
Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology offers usable position-sensitive rebound damping control on and off the pavement. HTO reduces harsh top-outs and increases comfort by forcing shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow down shock shaft speed. HTO is particularly beneficial after installing heavier, aggressive tires and on applications lifted higher than OEM specification.
This bolt-on FOX® 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock increases damping capacity and ride comfort with position-sensitive rebound control, and is backed by FOX®’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
