The FOX® 883-26-059 Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir Rear Shock Pair is an adjustable, 0″-1.5″ lift application rear shock set engineered for 2019-2023 Ford Ranger models, sold as a pair.

FOX® Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir shocks bring race-proven off-road shock technology to a bolt-on Truck and SUV application. These smooth-body shocks are derived directly from FOX® Off-Road race shock architecture, developed and tested in competition before being adapted for street-driven trucks and SUVs, delivering enhanced ride quality and control both on and off pavement.
The external piggyback reservoir increases total oil and nitrogen capacity over a standard monotube design, improving heat dissipation and maintaining consistent damping performance during sustained off-road use. The 2.5″ impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum shock body resists corrosion, while the race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving are tuned to maximize performance for this specific vehicle platform.
Each shock uses a 7/8″ hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft paired with a redundant sealing pack system consisting of a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal to keep contaminants out and oil in. PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings are used at the mounting eyelets for reduced friction and long service life.
