The FOX® 883-26-074 is a Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir rear shock pair engineered for 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT models running 2″-3″ of lift, delivering an external-reservoir smooth-body design derived directly from FOX®’s off-road race shocks.
IMPORTANT: Excludes Mojave models. This listing is for the 2″-3″ lift height rear application only. Jeep Gladiator JT owners running 0″-1.5″ of lift should reference FOX® part number 883-26-073, and owners running 4.5″-6″ of lift should reference FOX® part number 883-26-076. Installing this shock outside its designed lift range will affect ride height, damping performance, and available wheel travel.
Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir shocks give your Gladiator enhanced ride quality and control both on- and off-pavement. The design is pulled directly from FOX®’s off-road race shocks, which have been proven in some of the harshest competitive conditions in motorsports before being adapted for bolt-on use on your Jeep.
The external reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity over a standard monotube design, improving heat dissipation and maintaining consistent damping over long, hard runs. The 2.5″ impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum body resists corrosion and holds up to repeated off-road abuse, while a race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving are tuned specifically for this Gladiator JT application.
Internal components are black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, paired with a 7/8″ hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft for long-term wear resistance. PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings keep shock movement smooth and quiet at both mounting points, and a redundant sealing pack system — main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal — resists leaks in harsh trail conditions. FOX® backs this shock with its standard Limited 1-Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
