FOX® part number 883-26-075 is a 2.5 Performance Elite Series rear reservoir shock absorber with 11.97″ of travel, engineered for 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator applications with 3.5″–4″ of lift.
IMPORTANT: This shock fits all 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator models in the rear position except the Gladiator Mojave. Mojave owners require a separate application. Confirm your sub-model before ordering.
The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series brings race-developed technology to street and trail use. Drawing directly from FOX’s off-road competition shocks, the Performance Elite is a bolt-on upgrade that delivers meaningful improvements in ride quality and control over OEM dampers — without requiring custom fabrication or suspension modifications.
At the heart of the shock is a 2.5″ impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum body housing a race-developed high-flow piston with application-specific valving. A 7/8″ hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft moves through a redundant sealing pack — main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal — to deliver consistent damping and long-term leak resistance. PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings at both eyelets contribute to precise articulation and smooth operation throughout the suspension travel.
The external reservoir is the defining feature of this design. By relocating additional oil and nitrogen gas capacity outside the main shock body, the reservoir reduces heat buildup during extended off-road use, maintaining consistent damping performance when stock shocks begin to fade.
