The FOX® Factory Race 2.5 X 12 Coilover Remote Shock (P/N 981-25-108) is a 2.5-inch-body coilover shock with a remote reservoir and 12 inches of travel, providing a primary means to suspend the vehicle with adjustable preload and dual-rate spring crossover rings.
IMPORTANT: This is a remote-reservoir coilover — the reservoir mounts separately from the shock body via hose, allowing flexible mounting placement. It shares identical travel and core specifications with FOX® P/N 981-25-113, the same Factory Race 2.5 X 12 Coilover in a Piggyback Reservoir configuration — confirm which reservoir mounting style fits your application’s available clearance before ordering, as the two are not interchangeable. The coil spring is not included and must be matched to your application’s spring rate.

The shock body is finished in FOX Grey Cerakote®, a proprietary protective ceramic coating for corrosion and abrasion resistance, and uses a wire ring bearing design at the mounting points.
