IMPORTANT: This is the CD-adjustable (compression damping adjuster) version of the FOX® 2.0 Performance Series rear shock at 9.62in of travel. Part number 985-24-113 is the identical-spec, identical-fitment standard non-adjustable counterpart to this shock – do not confuse the two when ordering. FOX® offers this same rear position in additional lift-height tiers under part number(s) 985-24-112, 985-26-112, 985-24-114; confirm your target lift height against the fitment table below before ordering, as travel and mounting length differ between tiers. FOX® notes modifications are required for proper installation of this rear shock – consult the FOX® installation manual before mounting. This shock is sold individually, not as a pair.
The FOX® 2.0 Performance Series shock uses a 2.0-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body with a clear-anodized finish that resists corrosion and sheds heat faster than a comparable steel-body shock. The external reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity over a standard twin-tube design, and the reservoir clamp and mounting hardware are CNC-machined from black-anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum.
A race-developed high-flow piston is matched with application-specific valving, and this variant adds an external compression damping (CD) adjuster so low-speed compression can be tuned to the trail without disassembling the shock.
The shaft is 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel, and a redundant seal pack (main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal) keeps contamination out of the damping circuit. Top mount is Bar Pin, bottom mount is Eyelet. FOX® backs the 2.0 Performance Series with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
