Description
Icon Vehicle Dynamics’ 198000 2 Pin Spanner Wrench is an essential tool for adjusting your front ICON Coil-over Shocks. The Two Pin design makes the coilovers easy to adjust even when there is limited space inside the wheel well. Some installers make the mistake of trying to using alternative tools (such as needle nose pliers or screwdrivers) which end up damaging the machined adjustment holes, which not only makes them harder to adjust in the future but also damages the anodized finish on the adjuster rings. If you have Icon’s 2.5 series coilovers installed on your Jeep, Chevy, Toyota, Dodge, Ford, GMC, or Nissan truck, this spanner wrench will do the trick and is a good idea to keep on hand for any on the fly adjustments you may need to make while on the road, or during an off-road journey.
Icon coilovers are preset out of the box to yield approximately 2 inches of lift over stock. This 2″ height will of course vary depending on overall vehicle weight, engine size, drive type etc (heavier trucks will see less lift vs lighter trucks). Use the 198000 spanner wrench to raise or lower the lift amount to your desired height. Icon recommends measuring the distance between the fender and hub prior to installing your coilovers. This measurement will allow you to accurately calculate the amount of lift over stock that your vehicle ultimately achieves.
