The AMP Research BedStep2 mounts just behind the cab, forward of the rear wheel, delivering a faster, easier, and safer route to access toolboxes, equipment, and cargo in the truck bed. The step installs to the truck frame on either the driver side or passenger side and is designed to support loads up to 300 pounds.
BedStep2 is constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy, keeping weight low while providing a rigid, stable platform underfoot. Precision stainless steel pivot pins provide rock-solid stability at the step’s folding joint, and self-lubricating bushings throughout the pivot mechanism eliminate the need for ongoing maintenance across all weather conditions.
Deployment and retraction require no hands. A downward press on the outer edge of the step pad deploys it; a gentle upward kick on the underside retracts it. The step can be mounted on either side of the truck box, and the step pad position is adjustable to align flush with the fender during installation.
