The AMP Research PowerStep™ transforms entry and exit on your F-250, F-350, or F-450 Super Duty with a fully automatic electric running board that deploys the moment a door is opened and retracts flush to the rocker panel the instant the door closes. When retracted, the boards sit tight to the body for improved ground clearance, cleaner aerodynamics, and a factory-finished appearance — with no manual folding or pinning required.
The Plug-N-Play wiring system connects directly to the vehicle’s existing door-trigger circuit with no splicing, no relay wiring, and no custom harness fabrication. The connection is made at a factory-style connector, keeping the install clean and reversible. The boards are powered and controlled entirely through the truck’s electrical system, so behavior is always synchronized with the door state.
Each step surface features a durable black textured finish that provides grip in wet and muddy conditions while standing up to daily wear. Integrated LED lights illuminate the step area for safe entry in low-light conditions, activating automatically with the board. The system is rated to hold up to 600 lbs. per side.
