The ARB® CKBLP12 is a brushless single motor portable 12V air compressor delivering 4.59 CFM at 0 PSI and 3.10 CFM at 29 PSI, with a 90% duty cycle, 150 PSI maximum output, and an IP67 water-resistant rating — compatible with ARB® Air Lockers and ARB®’s full range of air accessories and hose kits.
IMPORTANT: The CKBLP12 is a portable compressor powered via alligator clamps to a 12V vehicle battery (maximum 45 amps draw). It is not an onboard compressor and does not hard-wire to the vehicle. The CKBLP12 delivers 50% more air output than ARB®’s previous market-leading brushed portable compressors, translating directly to faster tire inflation and reduced time at the trailhead. It runs on a 12V vehicle battery via alligator clamps and includes a 20-foot air hose and tire inflation chuck, making it ready to use straight out of the case.
The brushless electric motor at the heart of the CKBLP12 eliminates the brush wear and heat buildup that limits conventional compressor longevity. Each motor-compressor assembly incorporates a dedicated active cooling fan that maintains performance during extended duty cycles. Electronic speed control continuously adjusts motor output to maintain optimum performance across varying pressure demands and ambient temperature conditions — the compressor actively monitors itself and compensates for factors such as temperature fluctuation and variations in vehicle charging systems.
The CKBLP12 includes built-in voltage and overload protection, guarding against damage from voltage spikes, drops, fluctuations, overcurrent, and motor stalls. A polarity correction harness eliminates the risk of incorrect battery connection — either alligator clamp can connect to either battery terminal without risk of damage. Live status reporting via audio and visual alerts keeps the operator informed of compressor state during operation.
The CKBLP12 carries a 3-year warranty and is fully compatible with ARB®’s existing range of air accessories, hose kits, and Air Lockers — making it a direct upgrade path for existing ARB® air system users.
