The Diode Dynamics™ DD5132 Elite Series Combination Turn/Fog Lamp set is a direct-fit replacement for the factory combination fog lamp housings on the 2018–2023 Ford Mustang (USDM), adding a sequential LED turn signal, a high-power LED daytime running light function, and a redesigned 6000K cool white fog beam in a gloss black housing; sold as a pair and includes the lamp assemblies with OEM-style connectors and DRL harness.
IMPORTANT: This lamp set is not compatible with Mustang GT350, GT350R, GT500, or Mach 1 models, and is not compatible with EU/AU-market Mustangs. Confirm your Mustang is a USDM 2018–2023 GT, EcoBoost, or V6 model before ordering. The DRL function requires connection to the included harness at the factory headlight connector; review the installation instructions before beginning the install. Diode Dynamics’ 8-Year Limited Warranty on this lamp assembly covers the housing and LED function only — it does not cover the wiring harness, lens covers, or other accessories used with the assembly.
This is an Elite Series product from Diode Dynamics™, designed and assembled in the USA as a plug-and-play replacement for the OEM combination fog lamp housings. A gloss black bezel finish replaces the OEM chrome trim to match the blacked-out look of the factory headlights, and the housings are built from a 3D scan of the factory part for an exact OEM fitment using factory connectors.
The fog light optic has been completely redesigned with a larger lens, sharper beam cutoff, and wider beam pattern, increasing output by 30% over the stock fog lamp. The fog function uses a 6000K cool white color temperature to match the factory headlights. Each lamp also operates as a high-power LED daytime running light when connected to the included harness, giving daytime visibility well beyond the stock setup.
The turn signal function uses sequential LED segments with a programmable blink pattern, selectable via an integrated switch between U.S. sequential rate (matching the factory USDM tail lights), a faster E.U. sequential rate, and a static non-sequential mode. Unlocking, locking, or opening the doors also triggers a unique animated startup sequence as the lamps sweep on before settling to full brightness.
Diode Dynamics builds these lamps with constant-current circuitry and transient voltage protection for flicker-free, long-term reliability, and tests them to SAE/DOT standards across a -40°F to 185°F operating range along with vibration and corrosion testing. The lamp assembly carries Diode Dynamics’ 8-Year Limited Warranty (3-year replacement, plus 5 additional years against functional defects), in addition to the standard 3-Year Replacement Limited Warranty — full terms apply to the housing and LED function, not to wiring, harnesses, or lens covers.
