The Diode Dynamics™ DD6886P is the Stage Series SS3 White Pro LED Pod (pair) in the Combo/Driving beam pattern with Amber backlight, delivering 5,796 raw lumens and 3,000 measured lumens per pod at 36 watts, with an 80°x30° beam spread and IP69K waterproof certification; includes two pods, two mounting brackets with hardware, and two Deutsch-style wire pigtails.
The SS3 Pro is the highest-output 3-inch LED pod in the Diode Dynamics™ lineup, producing greater intensity than any other 3-inch pod on the market. The Combo/Driving configuration is engineered for maximum versatility — combining a focused driving optic for long-range illumination with a flood optic for near-field fill, making it the go-to pattern for auxiliary lighting on bumpers, A-pillars, roof lines, and off-road builds. The integrated amber backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a distinctive accent light alongside the main beam — a more modern look than the small indicator LEDs found on competing products. The backlight is powered separately via the included harness, tapped to your desired vehicle function. Amber backlight is suited for forward-facing installations; red backlight is available as a separate SKU for rear-facing use.
At the core of the SS3 Pro is a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic that collects all light from the LED and redirects it precisely on target, eliminating the internal loss common to reflector-based or simple lens designs. Unlike conventional pods that lose up to 10% of output through a separate outer lens, the SS3’s TIR optic serves as both the primary optic and outer lens, maximizing delivered intensity. The Combo/Driving beam shines light downrange in a focused 80°x30° pattern, combining driving and flood optics in a single lens — one side driving, one side flood — for a usable spread at both distance and close range. Peak beam intensity is 35,100 cd. The 6000K cool white color temperature matches most factory LED systems.
The SS3 Pro uses nine high-intensity LEDs drawing 36 watts main beam power (0.4 watts backlight) per pod across a 9–30V operating voltage range. Each pod is rated IP69K waterproof — certified against high-pressure water intrusion — and has been tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F including vibration, moisture, and corrosion testing completed to SAE J575 standards. Housing is matte black powder-coated aluminum with high-grade steel mounting hardware included. Each pod features an integrated DT-type Deutsch-style push-type waterproof connector with a 6-inch pigtail and bare leads.
