Description
The FOX® 985-02-154 is a 2.0 Performance Series Coil-Over IFP front shock with a 2.0-inch impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body, 6.33 inches of travel, and a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated alloy steel shaft, fitting the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra and 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia.
IMPORTANT: This part number covers two applications with different lift outcomes: it provides 0 to 2 inches of front lift on the Toyota Tundra and 0 to 4 inches of front lift on the Toyota Sequoia. This is a front-position shock only and is sold individually – the matching rear shock is a separate part number. Confirm your vehicle and desired lift height before ordering.
This is a bolt-on, direct-replacement front coil-over shock designed to level the front of the truck or SUV with no cutting, drilling, or modification required. It is engineered to work with the vehicle’s stock upper mount and re-uses the factory-style top mount configuration, making it a straightforward upgrade over the stock shock.
Inside the shock, an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from a high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This eliminates oil aeration and allows the factory-tuned, precision valving to deliver consistent, predictable damping across a wide range of speeds and surfaces. The race-developed, high-flow piston is matched with application-specific valving for a ride that stays comfortable on-road while remaining controlled off-road.
Locking spring preload rings allow the installer to adjust ride height and spring preload to dial in the front stance within the shock’s rated lift range. The coil spring itself is a top-quality racing coil selected specifically for this application to deliver the correct spring rate for the vehicle’s weight.
The shock body is clear-anodized for long-term corrosion resistance, and the internal components are black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum. FOX® backs this shock with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, and it is fully serviceable and re-valveable through FOX® Service for continued performance over the life of the vehicle.

This shock is a direct, bolt-on front application for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra and 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia, built around FOX®’s 2.0-inch IFP mono-tube design with an integrated coil spring and adjustable preload rings. Lift outcome varies by vehicle: 0 to 2 inches of front lift on Tundra and 0 to 4 inches of front lift on Sequoia. This is the front shock only, sold individually – it does not include the rear shock, which is a separate part number, and should not be confused with FOX® kits that bundle front and rear shocks together.
