FOX® part number 985-02-137 is a 2.0 Performance Series Coil-Over IFP shock built for the front axle of 2010-2026 Nissan Patrol Y62 models running 0″-2″ of front lift, using a 5/8″ hard chrome plated shaft, an OEM top mount, and an eyelet bottom mount.
IMPORTANT: This listing is for the FRONT coil-over shock only and is sold individually – the rear shock for the Nissan Patrol Y62 uses a separate FOX® part number and is not included. This shock is designed for stock-height vehicles or those with up to 2″ of front lift; it re-uses the factory shock mounting bolts, and the factory washers, bushings, and reservoir clamp hardware are included. Shock boots, roost shields, and mounting plates are not included and must be sourced separately if needed.
The FOX® 2.0 Performance Series Coil-Over IFP shock is a bolt-on unit loaded with the technology FOX® built its reputation on. The precision, metal impact-extruded aluminum body increases cooling capacity and resists rust, while the vehicle-specific upper mount uses a composite bushing to isolate noise and vibration from the cabin.
Locking spring preload rings allow easy ride height and preload adjustment, and retain a top-quality racing coil selected to deliver the optimal spring rate for the Patrol Y62 platform. The Coil-Over IFP design bolts on with no modifications and is built to level the truck front-to-rear.
Inside the shock body, an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This eliminates oil aeration and allows maximum performance from the factory-tuned, application-specific valving, delivering a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling. Components are CNC-machined from black-anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum, seals are backed by a redundant main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal pack, and the shock rides on large-diameter, heavy-duty spherical bearings. FOX® backs this shock with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
