The FOX® 2.0 Performance Elite 14in. Remote Reservoir Coilover Shock 7/8in. Shaft (P/N 981-20-122) is a 2.0-inch-body coilover shock with a 7/8″ shaft, a remote reservoir, and 14 inches of travel, combining FOX® race-proven damping technology with a spring perch in one assembly.
IMPORTANT: This unit uses a 7/8″ hard chrome-plated shaft, larger than the 5/8″ shaft used on standard FOX® Performance Elite 2.0 smooth body and emulsion shocks in this lineup (e.g. P/N 981-20-004, 981-20-007, 981-20-101, 981-20-102) — confirm shaft diameter compatibility with your application before ordering, as these are not interchangeable. The coil spring is not included and must be matched to your application’s spring rate.
Performance Elite Series coilover shocks are the foundation of a race-winning suspension. They combine race-proven damping technology with a means to suspend the vehicle in one easy-to-mount assembly, eliminating the need for a separate primary spring setup.
The remote reservoir separates the oil and nitrogen charge from the shock body via hose, increasing oil volume and reducing heat fade during sustained high-speed use compared to an emulsion-type shock.
The shock body is finished in clear zinc plating for corrosion resistance, and all aluminum components are black anodized and CNC machined. FOX® backs this shock with its official limited warranty; full warranty terms are available from FOX® directly.
