The FOX® 2.0 Performance Elite 14in. Remote Reservoir Smooth Body Coilover Shock (P/N 981-20-007) is a 2.0-inch-body remote-reservoir shock with a 5/8″ shaft and 14 inches of travel, built for off-road applications that already have a primary means of suspending the vehicle’s weight.
IMPORTANT: This is a Smooth Body Remote Reservoir shock — it requires an existing primary spring (leaf spring, torsion bar, or coil spring) and is not a stand-alone coilover unit. This 14″ travel version is closely related to FOX® P/N 981-20-004, the same Performance Elite 2.0 Smooth Body Remote Shock in a 10″ travel length — confirm your required travel before ordering, as the two are not interchangeable.

The rebuildable and serviceable race shock design allows the unit to be disassembled for rebuilding or internal valving adjustments as needed, giving owners the ability to maintain consistent damping performance over the life of the shock.
