Description
The FOX® 985-02-015 2.0 Performance Series Front Coil-Over IFP Shock is a bolt-on, vehicle-specific coil-over with 4.89″ of travel, built for 0″-2″ of front lift on 2014-2026 Ford F-150 trucks. It is sold individually and re-uses the factory upper mount location and hardware, with no cutting, drilling, or aftermarket control arms required.
IMPORTANT: This listing is for one (1) Front coil-over shock — it is sold individually, not as a pair. FOX® fitment for this part number is not continuous across every model year for every trim; coverage gaps exist between the 2014, 2015-2016, and 2017-and-later model years depending on trim level. Several 2021-and-newer F-150 trims (see the Fitment table below) use a high-load spring that FOX® recommends specifically for hybrid-equipped trucks. Confirm your exact model year, trim, and drivetrain against the table below before ordering.
This is the FOX® Performance Series Coil-Over IFP shock, designed to level the front of the truck front-to-rear while re-using the stock shock mounting points. The impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body is clear-anodized for corrosion resistance and dissipates heat faster than a steel-bodied shock, and the vehicle-specific upper mount uses a composite bushing to isolate noise and vibration from the cabin.
Inside, an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from a high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration so the factory-tuned, application-specific valving performs consistently under load. The shock uses a race-developed high-flow piston, a 5/8″ hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, and a redundant seal pack (main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal) for long service life. Large-diameter, heavy-duty spherical bearings support the mount.
Locking spring preload rings retain a top-quality racing coil selected for the correct spring rate on each application, and allow ride height and preload to be adjusted after installation. FOX® backs this shock with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

FOX® 985-02-015 is a front-position, 0″-2″ lift coil-over for the applications listed below. Coverage is not continuous across every model year — several trims skip the 2015-2016 and/or post-2020 model years, and several 2021-and-newer trims require a high-load spring that FOX® recommends for hybrid-equipped trucks.
