FOX® 985-02-128 2.0 TS (Through Shaft) Performance Series steering stabilizer with a 1-1/2 inch tie rod clamp fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.
IMPORTANT: This stabilizer is built for a 1-1/2 inch tie rod clamp diameter. FOX® also offers this TS stabilizer sized for 1-5/8 inch tie rods (part number 985-02-122) and for stock and 1-3/8 inch tie rods (part number 985-02-121) – confirm your tie rod diameter before ordering, as none of these three clamp sizes are interchangeable.
Conventional steering stabilizers create a push-pull force as the shaft occupies more volume in one direction than the other, displacing oil and unevenly loading the system. Derived from the FOX® original ATS stabilizer, the Performance Series 2.0 Stabilizer TS uses a Through Shaft (TS) architecture that eliminates shaft fluid displacement throughout the stabilizer’s entire travel in both directions.
By eliminating fluid displacement, the TS design delivers neutral and consistent damping of unwanted steering feedback, giving unrivaled steering control at a more accessible price point than the FOX® fully adjustable ATS stabilizer, in a single bolt-on unit.
The 2.0-inch impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear-anodized aluminum one-piece body resists corrosion and dissipates heat faster than steel. A 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston, application-specific valving, and a redundant sealing pack (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal) complete the build. Application-specific mounting hardware is included, and FOX® backs the unit with the FOX® Limited Lifetime Warranty.
