Part number 985-02-127 is the FOX® 2.0 Performance Series TS (Through Shaft) Steering Stabilizer, sold individually with application-specific mounting hardware, fitting 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT.
With conventional steering stabilizers, turning in one direction increases pressure inside the stabilizer as the shaft displaces oil in the body, producing a push or pull force felt through the steering wheel as the stabilizer works to return to neutral. Dual opposing stabilizers are often used to counteract this, but that requires extra mounting hardware and space.
Derived from FOX®’s original ATS stabilizer, the 2.0 Performance Series TS uses a Through Shaft architecture that eliminates fluid displacement throughout the stabilizer’s full range of travel in both directions. Eliminating that displacement delivers neutral, consistent damping of unwanted steering feedback in a single, bolt-on stabilizer.
The 2.0″ impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum one-piece body is clear-anodized to resist rust over time. The 5/8″ shaft is hard chrome plated over heat-treated alloy steel, and a redundant sealing pack — main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal — protects internals from dirt and moisture.
