Part number 883-26-067 is a FOX® 2.5 Performance Elite Series rear piggyback reservoir shock pair with DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjustable damping, built for 2014-2026 Ram 2500 4WD trucks running 6″ of rear lift.
IMPORTANT: This application is engineered specifically for 6″ of rear lift and is sold and installed as a matched pair. For 0″-2″ of rear lift on the same platform, see sibling part 883-26-065 — the two are not interchangeable, and installing the wrong lift-height shock will result in incorrect ride height and compromised suspension geometry. This application uses a piggyback-style reservoir mounted directly to the shock body rather than a hose-connected remote reservoir. This part number is confirmed for Ram 2500 only; it is not listed as fitting Ram 3500. This listing covers the rear application only; matching front shocks for this platform are sold separately (883-26-063 for 3″-4″ front lift, 883-26-064 for 6″ front lift).
FOX® Performance Elite Series 2.5 piggyback reservoir shocks are smooth-body, race-derived dampers built to deliver enhanced ride quality and control both on and off pavement. Design and valving are pulled directly from FOX® off-road race shocks and adapted for bolt-on use on stock and lifted trucks and SUVs.
The piggyback reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity over a standard monotube shock, improving heat management and maintaining consistent damping performance during sustained off-road use. Each shock uses a race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving tuned for this exact platform and lift height, paired with a redundant sealing pack (main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal) to keep contamination out of the damping circuit.
DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjustment allows independent tuning of low-speed and high-speed compression damping to match ride preference and terrain. The shock body is impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance, with black-anodized CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components and a 7/8″ hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft. PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings are used at the mounts. FOX® suspension products carry a 1-year limited warranty from FOX Factory, Inc.
