The FOX® 883-26-141 is a 2.5 Performance Elite Series rear reservoir shock pair with a Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster, built for 2022-2026Toyota Tundra (3rd generation) trucks with extended brake lines, running 1.5 to 3 inches of rear lift.
IMPORTANT: This SKU requires extended brake lines. FOX’s own fitment data lists this shock as “With Extended Brake Lines” — it is built for trucks already equipped with, or being fitted with, extended rear brake lines. FOX also offers a rear shock for the same 22-On Tundra platform at 0-1.5in lift that does not require extended brake lines (883-26-139); the two are not interchangeable. Confirm your truck’s rear lift height and brake line setup before ordering. FOX direct-replacement shocks should always be installed as a matched set. Sold as a pair (2 shocks).
Performance Elite Series 2.5 shocks for the 3rd-generation Tundra correct the truck’s stock forward rake, deliver a level ride height, and increase rear suspension articulation for a 1.5-3in lift. The shocks are designed to improve on-road manners while extending capability on rough terrain.
An external reservoir increases oil capacity and removes dead space from the shock body, reducing the harshness associated with nitrogen ramp-up. This results in cooler shock temperatures, more usable travel, and more consistent damping forces. Each reservoir carries a Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster, positioned to clear aggressive tires at full steering lock, allowing quick tuning for load, environment, and driving style.
The shock body is a 2.5in impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 Type III anodized aluminum body with a 7/8in hard chrome-plated steel shaft, application-specific springs, and vehicle-specific valving. A redundant sealing pack system (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal) and a rear shaft boot protect the shock from roost spray and debris. FOX’s standard one-year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
