Part number 987-24-067 is a FOX® 2.5 Performance Series IFP rear shock absorber built for 1999-2026 Toyota Land Cruiser LC76, LC78, and LC79 models running 0-3 inches of rear lift, with eyelet top and bottom mounting and one shock absorber included per box.
IMPORTANT: This listing covers the rear shock position only, valved for 0-3 inches of rear lift. It does not include a front shock. Pair it with FOX® front shock 987-24-066 for 0-2 inches of front lift, or FOX® front shock 987-24-069 for 2.5-4 inches of front lift, depending on your target front ride height.
FOX® 2.5 Performance Series shocks for the Land Cruiser are a bolt-on upgrade with vehicle-specific valving and a larger piston to improve both on-road comfort and off-road control. They restore or set ride height within the listed lift range without straining ball joints or steering linkages, preserving OEM-like handling behavior.
Each shock is a monotube design with a type II clear-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum body that dissipates heat efficiently and resists corrosion. The 2.5-inch, impact-extruded shock body uses an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge, keeping damping consistent under load, and a 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft with high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping.
The Performance Series construction is built for daily-driven comfort with increased damping capacity over stock shocks. FOX® backs this shock with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
