IMPORTANT: Not for use with lift kits that change OE mounts. This SKU is built for the redesigned 2020+ Silverado/Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD platform only – it is not compatible with the 2011-2019 generation. For the equivalent 4 inch front lift application on the 2011-2019 platform, see part number 987-24-032. For other lift heights on this same 2020+ platform, see part number 987-24-008 (0-1 inch) or 987-24-010 (1.5-2.5 inch). Sold individually, one shock per shock absorber position.
The FOX® 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a bolt-on shock loaded with position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to improve on and off-road performance. A type II anodized aluminum body efficiently dissipates heat and prevents corrosion. The 2.5-inch shock body features an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping.
Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology offers usable position-sensitive rebound damping control on and off the pavement. HTO reduces harsh top-outs and increases comfort by forcing shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow down shock shaft speed. HTO is particularly beneficial after installing heavier, aggressive tires and on applications lifted higher than OEM specification.
This bolt-on FOX® 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock increases damping capacity and ride comfort with position-sensitive rebound control, and is backed by FOX®’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

This FOX® 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is engineered specifically for the Front position on 2020-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD, GMC Sierra 2500 HD, and GMC Sierra 3500 HD trucks running 4 inches of front lift. This SKU fits the 2020+ generation only – for the 2011-2019 platform at the same 4 inch front lift, order part number 987-24-032 instead.
