The FOX® 2.5 Performance Series Rear IFP Shock (987-24-058) is a bolt-on 2.5″ rear shock providing 0″-2″ of rear lift on 2025-2026 Toyota 4Runner, 2024-2026 Lexus GX550, and 2024-2026 Toyota Land Cruiser (250 Series).
IMPORTANT: This is the matching rear shock for FOX®’s 2.5 Performance Series front coilovers on this platform – part 987-02-015 (standard tune) or part 987-02-016 (HD Tune, designed for heavy payload applications). Front lift range on those coilovers is 0″-2.25″, slightly taller than this rear shock’s 0″-2″ range; this is a normal front-to-rear valving difference, not a mismatch. Confirm your front coilover selection alongside this rear shock when building a full set.

Monotube construction uses a Type II anodized aluminum body, efficiently dissipating heat and preventing corrosion. The 2.5″ shock body features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) that separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, optimizing damping consistency under sustained off-road use.
This bolt-on Performance Series 2.5 rear shock rides in comfort while increasing damping capacity over a stock unit. FOX® backs this shock with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
