The Hawk Performance® HB802B.661 is a High Performance Street 5.0 (HPS 5.0) front brake pad set, 0.661 in. thick, for the front axle of 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost and GT models. It is sold as one axle set (2-wheel set) and includes the brake pads for one axle; hardware, clips, shims and wear sensors are not listed as included.
IMPORTANT: All Hawk Performance® compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Hawk Performance® pads are designed to work with Iron/Metal rotors. Do not install these pads on a vehicle with carbon ceramic rotors. This is a front pad. Mustang fitment depends on the front brake package: Hawk Performance® lists the 5.0L entries without a trim name only for cars without the Brembo package, lists 2015-2020 GT and GT Premium with the 4-piston caliper, and lists 2021-2023 EcoBoost and GT trims with the optional 4-piston caliper. This compound combines the safety and quality of aerospace design with the braking technology of motorsports. The results are shorter stopping distances, improved performance under heavy braking conditions, and street car friendly characteristics. Hawk Performance® rates HPS 5.0 for an operating temperature range of 100-750 F, with an optimal range of 100-550 F.
This pad set is covered by the Hawk Performance® Street Performance Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty excludes normal wear and damage caused by negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, or improper installation or service. Warranty claims are processed through Hawk Performance®, and approved claims are replaced or reimbursed with Hawk Performance® pads of equal or greater value.
