Hawk Performance® HB141B.650 HPS 5.0 brake pads are a front or rear (position varies by vehicle) brake pad set for 1986-1998 Porsche 911, 1986-1991 Porsche 928, 1990 and 1992 Porsche 944 and 1992-1996 Porsche 968, in the HB141 pad shape at 0.650 in thick. The box contains one axle set (2-wheel set) of Hawk Performance® HPS 5.0 brake pads.
IMPORTANT: This pad is a front pad on some vehicles and a rear pad on others, so confirm the axle for your vehicle before ordering. Fitment: front axle: Porsche 911 1986, 1990-1998; Porsche 928 1986-1991; Porsche 944 1990, 1992; Porsche 968 1992-1996; rear axle: Porsche 911 1996-1998 (trims and limits in the fitment table). Hawk Performance® notes build-date, brake, equipment or caliper details for some vehicles; those are shown in the fitment table. All Hawk Performance® compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Hawk Performance® pads are designed to work with iron/metal rotors. Hawk Performance® High Performance Street 5.0 pads give your vehicle the greatest stopping power and pedal feel without compromising ABS. HPS 5.0 is a Ferro-Carbon compound that provides advanced braking characteristics to enhance the driving experience. This compound combines the safety and quality of aerospace design with the braking technology of motorsports. The results are shorter stopping distances, improved performance under heavy braking conditions, and street car friendly characteristics.
Hawk Performance® lists these HPS 5.0 characteristics: aggressive torque, great rotor and pad wear life, smooth and predictable control, high deceleration rates, and consistent brake release characteristics for a smooth braking feel. Hawk Performance® rates HPS 5.0 for 100-750 F operating temperatures, with a 100-550 F optimal temperature range.
HB141B.650 uses the HB141 pad shape at 0.650 in thick, measuring 5.18 in x 2.79 in (132 mm x 71 mm), with FMSI reference D372 (also D447, D609). Dimensions are taken from the Hawk Performance® factory diagram. Hawk Performance® also cross-references the HB141 shape to these aftermarket calipers: Brembo S4, StopTech ST-40 / STR-40, StopTech ST-45, StopTech ST-50.
Hawk Performance® pads are covered by the Hawk Performance® Street Performance Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty excludes normal wear and damage from negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, or improper installation or service. Claims are processed through Hawk Performance®, and approved claims are replaced or reimbursed with Hawk Performance® pads of equal or greater value.
