Hawk Performance® HB193B.670 HPS 5.0 brake pads are a front or rear (position varies by vehicle) brake pad set for 2003-2006, 2008-2010 and 2015-2017 Dodge Viper, 1988-1992 Ferrari F40, 1993-1995 Ferrari F50, and 1997-2006 Jaguar XKR, XJR and Vanden Plas, in the HB193 pad shape at 0.670 in thick. The box contains one axle set (2-wheel set) of Hawk Performance® HPS 5.0 brake pads.
IMPORTANT: This pad is a front pad on some vehicles and a rear pad on others, so confirm the axle for your vehicle before ordering. Fitment: front axle: Dodge Viper 2003-2006, 2008-2010, 2015-2017; Ferrari F40 1988-1992; Ferrari F50 1993-1995; Jaguar Vanden Plas 2002-2003; Jaguar XJR 1997, 2002-2003; Jaguar XKR 2002-2006; rear axle: Dodge Viper 2003-2006, 2008-2010, 2015-2017; Ferrari F40 1988-1992 (trims and limits in the fitment table). Hawk Performance® High Performance Street 5.0 pads give your vehicle the greatest stopping power and pedal feel without compromising ABS. HPS 5.0 is a Ferro-Carbon compound that provides advanced braking characteristics to enhance the driving experience. This compound combines the safety and quality of aerospace design with the braking technology of motorsports. The results are shorter stopping distances, improved performance under heavy braking conditions, and street car friendly characteristics.
Hawk Performance® lists these HPS 5.0 characteristics: aggressive torque, great rotor and pad wear life, smooth and predictable control, high deceleration rates, and consistent brake release characteristics for a smooth braking feel. Hawk Performance® rates HPS 5.0 for 100-750 F operating temperatures, with a 100-550 F optimal temperature range.
HB193B.670 uses the HB193 pad shape at 0.670 in thick, measuring 5.18 in x 2.64 in (132 mm x 67 mm), with FMSI reference D810 (also D968). Dimensions are taken from the Hawk Performance® factory diagram. Hawk Performance® pads are covered by the Hawk Performance® Street Performance Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty excludes normal wear and damage from negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, or improper installation or service. Claims are processed through Hawk Performance®, and approved claims are replaced or reimbursed with Hawk Performance® pads of equal or greater value.
