DTC-70 is a Hawk Performance® Motorsports brake pad compound engineered with extremely high torque and a highly aggressive initial bite for cars with high deceleration rates, with or without downforce. Hawk Performance® credits it with superior release and control characteristics and positions it as a race solution on its own or as split friction with DTC-60.

Hawk Performance® describes DTC-70 as a high performance, high torque compound with superior rotor and pad wear and excellent modulation and release characteristics. Listed applications are NASCAR/NASCAR modified, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, Open Wheel/Formula and Monster Trucks. DTC-70 runs at an 800-1200 F optimal temperature range with 400-1600 F operating temperatures.

The HB843 backing plate shape measures 7.47 in. (190 mm) x 3.81 in. (97 mm), with a total pad thickness of 0.604 in. (15 mm) including core and friction material. Hawk Performance® pads are designed to work with iron/metal rotors only, and proper bed-in per the Hawk Performance® installation and bed-in procedure is required for best performance. Warranty: Hawk Performance® Street Performance Limited Lifetime Warranty: warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty does not apply to normal wear or to damage caused by negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operations, or improper installation or service.
