Honda Civic Type R [FK8] (2017, 2018)
Overwhelming Low Exhaust Pressure – 50％ of Original Pressure
75mm large diameter pipe and full straight structure reduce the exhaust pressure to 50% of the stock.
This significant exhaust pressure reduction enables the turbine to run smoothly from low RPM range, which results in the engine output increase in an entire speed range.
Also, this pressure reduction effect is enhanced as the tuning level becomes more advanced; the engine output can be increased to 540ps without engine power-loss.
This brand new HKS Civic Type R exhaust increases overall piping diameter over stock, making it a 3-inch main pipe to dual 2.4-inch pipes into dual mufflers, which feed dual 3.8-inch Burnt Titanium Tips. This Legamax performance exhaust reduces back-pressure by 50%, allowing the turbine to spin more freely from a low RPM, improving power and throttle response across the power-band.
The HKS Legamax performance exhaust has been designed to handle up to 540 ps (532 HP) without any power loss, which makes it ideal for high power builds. It also features a dual muffler and small resonator, which is engineered to provide zero drone for a deep throaty exhaust note while still ensuring a comfortable tone for every day street driving.
