The ProMaxx hood utilizes 2 sets of vents to release the maximum amount of heat & reduce under hood temperatures. The 2 side vents, situated near the windshield, allow heat trapped near the firewall to escape when your Jeep is traveling at high speeds. The second set of vents, which run the full length of each side of the cowl, allow heat from the engine compartment to escape while you’re driving at low speed.
