Description
Specialty Products / SPC Performance Front Camber/Caster Kit Upper Control Arms (covers both wheels) for a 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma (6-lug wheel bolt pattern only). SPC’s patented ball joint design gives you an unmatched 80 degrees of articulation, which is more than most other performance UCA’s.
When you lifted your truck, you changed both camber & caster angles beyond what the original OE control arms are designed to accommodate. These SPC upper control arms and allow you to dial in your suspension angles & regain factory drive-ability by utilizing SPC’s patented sliding ball joint and caster plate. Adjustment range: Camber: ±2.0° Caster: 0 to +4°
If you’re going to spend the money on lifting your Tacoma, then you’ll want a pair of Specialty Products UCA’s in order to take full advantage of the full range of suspension travel. These arms have added clearance over stock so that you have plenty of room around the spring bucket. With 80° of articulation in the ball joint at the end of each arm, SPC arms also give you maximum droop travel than any other ball joint equipped arm on the market.
Many customers complain about their tire being too far forward or backward in the wheel well. By installing these arms, you can get your tire sitting exactly where you want it. Just use the adjustments in the control arm and on the OE lower arms to to fine tune alignment angles and move oversized tires to the correct position inside your wheel well. After you’ve adjusted properly, you’ll have eliminated tire rub and no longer have to worry about fender trimming.
Adjustment range: Camber ±2.0°
Caster: 0.0° to +4.0°
Installation time: .8 hr/side
Manufacturer Description
Designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in Colorado, SPC Performance adjustable upper control arms are loaded with impressive features. Improve suspension travel, handling, and tire wear while centering the tire in the wheel well for maximum clearance needed for oversized tires. Now equipped with maintenance-free ball joints and free-pivoting xAxis™ sealed flex joints in bonded rubber sleeves, for correction of alignment angles and restoration of factory ride quality. A Forged steel design provides the strength and durability needed for the most demanding environments. SPC adjustable control arms have improved clearance to get around the spring bucket and a full 80° of articulation in the ball joint. When trucks are lifted, caster and camber angles are affected that can lead to poor handling characteristics such as ‘wandering’. SPC control arms have positive caster built-in for lifted vehicles to restore alignment angles and driveability. The patented ball joint design allows the tire to be positioned correctly in the wheel well and additional adjustment in the OE lower arms can maximize placement for oversized tires to avoid fender trimming. If replacement lower adjustment cams are needed, see part #25440 or #25435 depending on year. Sold as pairs. US Patent No. 7,513,514.
Arm’s adjustment range combine with OE adjusters corrects alignment angles for improved drivability and reduced tire wear & makes it possible to move the tire forward to maximize clearance for 33’s without frame or fender modifications
Forged steel arm construction provides maximum strength & clearance with additional caster provision for lifted vehicles built-in
New ball joint has 25% larger stud cross section than OE for superior strength & E-Nickel coating for superior corrosion protection while providing 80° of articulation & extended threads make these arms compatible with knuckle gusset kits
New fully sealed ball joint architecture keeps grease in and contaminants out for a maintenance-free joint
One piece polymer race Ball Joint with modern grease formula ensures quiet smooth operation & low turning torque for reduced wear and extended life that tests like OE
New xAxis™ sealed flex joints in bonded rubber bushings allow for extended suspension travel & superior noise vibration and harshness (NVH) characteristics
