The FOX® 985-24-102 2.0 Performance Series Front Reservoir Shock is a bolt-on front shock for 1999-2004 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks running a 0-1 inch front lift, delivering 8.62 inches of travel through a 2.0-inch smooth body with an external reservoir.
IMPORTANT: This shock is valved specifically for stock-height to 1-inch-lifted 1999-2004 Super Duty trucks. It includes a billet reservoir mounting clamp and is sold individually. F-250 and F-350 applications are 4WD only; F-450 and F-550 applications are covered across all drive configurations listed by the manufacturer. The aluminum-bodied FOX® 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir shock delivers race-proven damping performance in an affordable, hassle-free bolt-on package. The impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body is clear-anodized for a heat-reducing, corrosion-resistant finish that dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel-body shock.
An external reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity for more consistent damping under sustained off-road use, while delivering a distinctive race-inspired look. The black-anodized reservoir mounting clamp and other components are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum.
The race-developed, high-flow damping piston is matched with application-specific valving to deliver predictable ride quality capable of handling rough road conditions. A redundant sealing pack — main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal — protects against contamination.
The shock uses a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated shaft with eyelet mounts on both ends. FOX® backs this shock with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
