The FOX® 985-02-134 2.0 Performance Series Coil-Over IFP Shock is a front-position, direct bolt-on replacement shock for 2019-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks (including the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD and Sierra 1500 Limited), designed for a 0″-2″ front lift range on most trims.
IMPORTANT: On most Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 trims, this shock requires an Upper Control Arm to run the 0″-2″ lift range. AT4 and Trail Boss trim variants (Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss) are the exception — those trims are only compatible at 0″ lift and do not require an Upper Control Arm. Confirm your trim level below before ordering.
This bolt-on FOX® Performance Series Coil-Over IFP shock is engineered to level your truck front-to-rear while re-using the stock coil spring perch, with no cutting or drilling required. The 2.0″ impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear-anodized aluminum body resists corrosion and increases cooling capacity over the stock shock body. A vehicle-specific upper mount with a composite bushing isolates road noise and vibration from the cabin.
Inside, an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from a nitrogen-charged gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration so the application-specific, factory-tuned valving can perform consistently under load. Locking spring preload rings retain a top-quality racing coil selected for the correct spring rate, and allow easy ride-height and preload adjustment at install.
Construction carries through to the details: a 5/8″ hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft, black-anodized CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components, a redundant seal pack (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal), and large-diameter, heavy-duty spherical bearings at the mounts.
