The FOX® 883-32-009 is an on-road Performance Series 2.0 shock kit with Low-Speed Rebound (LSR) adjustability, covering the front and rear positions on 1997-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C5 and C6 models.
IMPORTANT: This kit is designed around a vehicle ride height drop of .75″-1.5″ per FOX specifications. It is built specifically for the C5/C6-generation Corvette (1997-2013) and uses a patented rubber-isolated spherical bearing at the mount. It is not interchangeable with FOX® part number 883-31-000, which is built for the later C7-generation Corvette (2014-2019) and adds external reservoirs with LSC/LSR adjustability. Confirm your Corvette’s generation before ordering.
FOX® Performance Series 2.0 shocks are built to dramatically improve the car’s ride for daily driving practicality while remaining adaptable to track use. The kit is a direct upgrade over the factory dampers on C5 and C6 Corvettes, delivering a noticeably more planted and controlled ride without giving up everyday comfort.
Each shock uses a 2.0″ impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body with TYPE III hard anodization to resist corrosion and wear. A patented rubber-isolated spherical bearing at the mount reduces harshness transmitted into the chassis, and a redundant sealing pack system (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal) protects against contamination and fluid loss over the life of the shock.
FOX® ride engineers tested this kit extensively on the Corvette, driving the car on both road and track to optimize valving across a variety of road textures and improve overall vehicle balance. The LSR adjuster allows the owner to fine-tune handling feedback or dial in additional driving comfort. Shafts are 5/8″ hard chromed steel for smooth, consistent damper action, and each shock uses an internal floating piston to maintain consistent damping performance.
