Part number 883-26-002 is the FOX® 2.5 Factory Race Series external reservoir rear shock pair with a Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster for 2004-2020 Ford F-150 trucks running 0″-1.5″ of rear lift, built with a 2.5″ smooth-bore zinc-plated steel body and application-specific valving.

IMPORTANT: This version includes the external DSC compression adjuster on the reservoir for on-the-fly damping tuning. If you don’t need an external adjuster, FOX offers a non-adjustable version of this same application under part number 883-24-002. Confirm which version you need before ordering.

Factory Race Series 2.5 Reservoir shocks bring FOX’s off-road race shock design to a direct bolt-on application, delivering the ride quality and control needed once you leave pavement. The external reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity over a standard shock while giving the truck a distinct race-inspired stance.

The 2.5-inch smooth-bore body is zinc-plated and double clear-coated for a long-lasting finish, paired with black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components. A race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving manage damping through the shock’s full range of travel, and the DSC adjuster lets the driver dial in compression for load, terrain, and driving style without removing the shock.

A 7/8″ hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft rides on PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings. FOX uses a redundant sealing pack (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal) to keep contaminants out and oil in. Eyelet top and bottom mounts are standard, and the shock is backed by FOX’s Truck & Motorsports product warranty.
