883-26-029 is a FOX® 2.5 Factory Race Series DSC-adjustable rear reservoir shock pair (2 shocks with mounting hardware) with 9.77 inches of travel, engineered for 2009-2024 Dodge Ram 1500, Ram 1500, and Ram 1500 Classic 4WD trucks running 0-1.5 inches of rear lift.
IMPORTANT: This shock pair fits the previous-generation Ram 1500 body only: 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500, 2011-2018 Ram 1500, and 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic, all 4WD. It does not fit the current-generation (2019-2026) Ram 1500 DT-platform, which uses FOX® part number 883-26-079, and it does not fit air ride-equipped models. This kit is designed for 0-1.5 inches of rear lift height and is sold as a pair (2 shocks).
FOX® Factory Race Series 2.5 shocks bring off-road race shock technology from FOX® to a bolt-on reservoir shock for stock-height and mildly lifted trucks. The 2.5-inch external reservoir adds oil and nitrogen capacity over a standard shock, improving damping consistency when the terrain gets rough.
The 2.5-inch smooth-bore, zinc-plated seamless steel body is double-clear coated for a long-lasting finish, and pairs with black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components and a 7/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft. A race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving work with a redundant seal pack (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal) and PTFE-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings for consistent, rebuildable performance.
Each shock includes a Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster, giving independent low-speed and high-speed compression tuning to match the ride to daily driving or harder off-road use.
FOX® backs the 883-26-029 shock pair with a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase through an authorized FOX® dealer.

This shock pair covers 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie, SLT, Sport, ST, and TRX4 4WD; 2011 Ram 1500 4WD (all trims); and the following 2012-2018 Ram 1500 4WD trims: Big Horn, Express, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, Outdoorsman, SLT, Sport, ST, and Tradesman (2012-2018), Laramie Limited and Special Service (2014-2018), Lone Star (2014-2018), SXT (2013-2018), and Limited and Rebel (2015-2018). It also fits all 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic 4WD trims. All applications require 4WD and 0-1.5 inches of rear lift; air ride-equipped models are excluded. This is the previous-generation Ram 1500 body only — for the 2019-2026 current-generation Ram 1500 DT-platform, use FOX® part number 883-26-079 instead.
