Part number 987-24-069 is a FOX® 2.5 Performance Series IFP front shock absorber built for 1999-2026 Toyota Land Cruiser LC76, LC78, and LC79 models running 2.5-4 inches of front lift, with eyelet top and bottom mounting and one shock absorber included per box.
IMPORTANT: This shock is valved specifically for 2.5-4 inches of front lift and excludes 2-door LC79 variants, per FOX® fitment data. If your Land Cruiser is running 0-2 inches of front lift, use FOX® part number 987-24-066 instead. Confirm your LC79 body configuration before ordering, as 2-door LC79 models are not covered by this part number.
FOX® 2.5 Performance Series shocks for the Land Cruiser are a bolt-on upgrade with vehicle-specific valving and a larger piston to improve both on-road comfort and off-road control. They set ride height within the listed lift range without straining ball joints or steering linkages, preserving OEM-like handling behavior.
Each shock is a monotube design with a type II anodized aluminum body that dissipates heat efficiently and resists corrosion. The 2.5-inch shock body uses an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge, keeping damping consistent under load.
