Part number 987-24-026 is a FOX® 2.5 Performance Series IFP rear shock, sold individually, engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma (RWD) trucks running 0–1.5 inches of rear lift.
IMPORTANT: This shock fits 6-lug versions of the Toyota Tacoma only. FOX® also offers part number 985-24-116, a 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body Remote Reservoir rear shock, for the same 2005–2023 Tacoma generation — confirm which shock style you want before ordering, as the two are not interchangeable.
FOX® 2.5 Performance Series shocks for the Toyota Tacoma are a bolt-on solution with vehicle-specific valving and larger pistons to improve on- and off-road performance. They level the vehicle without straining ball joints or linkages, maintaining OEM reliability and vehicle behavior.
