The FOX® 883-26-143 2.5 Performance Elite Rear Reservoir Shock Pair with DSC EVO provides 0-1in. of rear lift for 2024+ Toyota Tacoma trucks, using external reservoirs with Dual Speed Compression Evolution (DSC EVO) adjusters for independent high- and low-speed damping control. The set includes two complete rear shocks.
IMPORTANT: This shock does not fit leaf-spring-equipped Tacoma trucks.
FOX® Performance Elite Series shocks with DSC EVO improve the 4th-generation Toyota Tacoma platform by eliminating the vehicle’s forward rake, providing a level ride height, and increasing suspension articulation. Type III anodization on the 2.5″ aluminum body prevents corrosion and wear over time.
The external reservoir increases oil capacity and reduces the harshness associated with nitrogen ramp-up. Each reservoir’s Dual Speed Compression Evolution (DSC EVO) adjuster is strategically mounted to avoid interference with aggressive tires at full lock, and features Variable Valve Control (VVC) on the high-speed circuit — VVC adjusts high-speed damping without adding preload to the shim stack. The result is more comfort, independently tunable high- and low-speed circuits, and increased capacity for big hits, letting the driver add high-speed compression without sacrificing small-bump sensitivity.
Construction includes a 2.5″ impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 Type III anodized aluminum body, black-anodized CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components, a 7/8″ hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, application-specific valving, and a redundant sealing pack system (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal). FOX® backs this shock with a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
