The FOX® 883-26-102 2.5 Performance Elite Series external reservoir rear shock pair is engineered for 2014-2026 Ram 3500 trucks with single rear wheels, delivering application-specific valving for a 4″-6″ rear lift height and 12.18″ of travel.
IMPORTANT: This shock pair fits 2014-2026 Ram 3500 trucks with single rear wheels (SRW) only and does not fit dual rear wheel (DRW) trucks or trucks equipped with factory air suspension. This part number is for the rear position only and includes both rear shocks. Front Performance Elite shocks for this application are sold under a separate FOX part number.
Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir shocks bring FOX’s off-road race-shock technology to a bolt-on Truck and SUV application. The external reservoir design increases oil and nitrogen capacity over a standard smooth-body shock, giving the damper more capacity to manage heat and maintain consistent performance on extended off-road runs or heavy-duty towing and hauling.
The 2.5″ body is impact-extruded and CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, then hard-anodized for corrosion resistance. Internally, a race-developed high-flow piston pairs with application-specific valving tuned for the Ram 3500 rear application, while a redundant sealing pack — main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal — keeps contaminants out and oil in.
The 7/8″ shaft is hard chrome plated over heat-treated alloy steel for wear resistance, and the shock rides on PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings at the eyelet mounts.
