The FOX® 803-35-016 Billet Front Upper Control Arm kit is a direct-replacement pair, sold as driver and passenger side assemblies, machined from 6061 billet aluminum with 1.25″ hard chrome-plated uniballs and 3/4″ chromoly heim joints, engineered for Ram 1500 trucks without factory air ride suspension across the 2009-2026 model years (2025 coverage is trim-specific — see fitment details below).
IMPORTANT: This kit is designed for Ram 1500 trucks equipped without factory air ride suspension only and is not compatible with air ride-equipped trucks. For the 2025 model year, fitment is limited to RWD Big Horn, Laramie, Lone Star, Tradesman, and Tradesman HFE trims without air ride; other 2025 trims are not covered. FOX® direct-replacement upper control arms should always be installed as a matched set (both sides) for proper performance, and a professional installation followed by a full front-end alignment is required. Stock wheels and tires, or wheel/tire combinations wider than stock, may contact the billet control arm during turning or at full suspension travel — verify wheel backspacing and tire width clearance before installation. This part number, 803-35-016, is the Black finish; the identical kit is also available in Orange finish as part number 803-35-017.
The Upper Control Arm (UCA) is the foundational upgrade for building a mid-travel Ram 1500 suspension setup. It corrects suspension geometry when the vehicle is lifted, maintaining proper alignment while maximizing droop travel for increased off-road articulation. Additional caster built into the arm’s design helps reduce high-speed wander for more confidence behind the wheel and a more comfortable ride on rough roads and trails.
Each arm is machined from 6061 billet aluminum with laser-etched FOX® logos. The 1.25″ hard chrome-plated uniballs and 3/4″ chromoly heim joints provide the pivot and rod-end connection points, while stainless-steel taper misalignment spacers and 12-point bolts at the steering knuckle connection ensure a reliable, precise fit through the full range of suspension travel.
